Services for Teachers
- Personalized job search: At Morgan Recruiting, we personalize the job search so that we only present you with jobs that match your preferences. So if you want a job in a large city or a coastal region, we will only present you with those jobs. When you are presented with a school that matches your interests, we will arrange for an interview between you and the school director.
- School screening: Morgan Recruiting screens all of the schools it represents through visits to the school and interviews with the director. We always put applicants in touch with the current teachers at the school.
- Visa processing: We simplify and lay out the entire process of obtaining your E-2 teaching visa. We handle all immigration issues and tell you which documents to send.
- Travel arrangements: We use our contacts to make travel arrangements from your country to your location in Korea. Once the date to receive your E-2 visa from the Korean consulate is set, we will make the reservation and either an electronic ticket will be sent to your email address or a paper ticket will be sent by FedEx to your home address. This will normally be about a week before departing for Korea.
- Airport greeting: Morgan Recruiting will arrange for you to be met at the airport by one of our recruiting agents or by a representative of your school.
- Contract negotiation: Morgan Recruiting will use our experience and understanding of Korean labor laws to make sure you get the contract you want.
- Pre-arrival preparation: We lay out the entire process and take applicants through it step-by-step including what documents to send, how to obtain the E-2 teaching visa and what to bring to Korea. We fully prepare teachers to come to Korea through our New Teachers Orientation Package and our comprehensive FAQ board. Our recruiters are always available to answer any questions you may have.
- Post-arrival support: Morgan Recruiting fully supports our teachers during their entire stay in Korea. This not only includes help with any issues related to immigration or legal matters, but also includes helping teachers adjust to living in Korea with friendly advice. Want to find a good place to study Korean, open a bank account, or find a good dentist? – you can contact us anytime for our help. Morgan Recruiting’s support for our teachers also includes our unique system of follow-up checks (surveys and discussions) to ensure your complete satisfaction. These checks would normally occur at 1, 3, 6 and 11 months. Through these checks, we determine your level of satisfaction and what we can do to improve our services.
- Resume/Job search advice: Having seen thousands of resumes over the years, Morgan Recruiting is fully prepared to assist applicants by giving practical advice on building your resume effectively and giving job search tips.
